Just remember a drink that I used to make accidentally, which actually tasted quite good. Normally, I cut up watermelon and blend with a couple of ice cube in the blender.

That day I was cooking a vietnam style dinner and while sweating away in the kitchen, I thought it would really cool me down with a refreshing drink, hence, I did my usual watermelon blend. I went back to cutting my mint vegetables for the soup dish I was making. Accidentally, I had drop a 2 stem of mint leaves into the drink. It turn out quite nice and added a kick to the watermelon juice.

2 slices of watermelon
5 mint leaves
3 ice cube

Combine all and blend.

Normally, when you eat out, restaurents tend to add a little something to their plain water.  Like few slices of lemon into a full flask of water. One such restaurent I visit in Singapore that serve this way is Ajitei at Bugis Junction.  Interestingly, when I recently visited Mdm Kwan, a restaurent in Mid Valley at KL, Malaysia, I noticed that strawberry is used instead.  The water has a hint of strawberry taste.  And it looks really cool!

If you do know of better ways to decorate water, do share.

I have recently used this recipe on a get-together party.  It was very well received and many of my friends asks for the recipe so here goes.

This recipe makes enough to fill for 3 batches of punch bowl.

1 Tub Apricot Ice Cream
1 Tub Whipped Cream
1 Litre Ginger Ale
1 Litre Ice Cream Soda
1 Litre Pineapple Juice
1 Litre Milk
Juice from 5 limes
500 ml Orange Juice Concentrate

Freeze Pineapple Juice into ice-cubes overnight.

If you cannot find frozen whipped cream, you can use whipped cream and beat until stiff.  Then freeze it overnight.

On the party day, divide all the ingredients equally into 3 large bowl excluding the ice-cubes. Mix well with handheld blender.  Then add in the Pineapple Juice ice-cube.
